Harold Junior Parkrun 28/09/2025

Juniors Inspire at Harold Park Junior Parkrun!

This morning at Harold Park, our junior runners delivered nothing short of brilliance. With vibrant energy, determination, and great camaraderie, they stamped their mark and signalled that we are more than ready for the upcoming cross-country season.

A Morning to Remember

From the moment the run started, the enthusiasm was contagious. Smiles, cheers, and encouraging shouts echoed around the course as our juniors pushed themselves, supported one another, and embraced every challenge. They showed grit and pride—and proved that they’re up for the harder terrain and longer miles ahead.

Cross-Country Season, Here We Come

As we gear up for cross-country, mornings like these are exactly what we need. They build confidence, fitness, and team spirit. This run isn’t just a warm-up, it’s an affirmation that the group is growing stronger, both physically and mentally.

Over the coming weeks, we’ll be working on:

  • Endurance and stamina

  • Trail & Grass technique

  • Mental resilience - knowing they have already completed the distance is a huge benefit for their mental strength

  • Supporting each other as a squad with their team captains and coaches

This morning’s performance gives us a solid base to build on, and a wonderful reminder of why we do this.

A Big Shoutout to the Volunteers

None of this would be possible without the dedicated volunteers who make Parkrun happen every week. Whether timing, marshalling, handing out tokens, or cheering on runners, you are the backbone of this event. Your enthusiasm, reliability, and support are instrumental in creating a welcoming and fun environment for all ages. Thank you for being there, rain or shine, for our juniors and all participants.
